Safeguarding of funds
Monty Global Payments, S.A. U.E.P. is a payment institution authorized and supervised by the Bank of Spain (Registration No. 6814). Funds received from customers for the execution of payment services are safeguarded in accordance with Directive (EU) 2015/2366 (PSD2) and other applicable regulations. These funds are kept separate from the Entity’s own funds by depositing them in separate accounts held at credit institutions. In the event of the Entity’s insolvency, the safeguarded funds are protected under payment services regulations and do not form part of the assets available to the Entity’s creditors under the terms established by law.
